I hear from many of you that you enjoy that relaxing cocktail at the end of the day. To put your feet up next to the fire with drink in your hand and just chill. I so get that.
We are also looking for the transition from our work to home. We used to do this by driving home but with the pandemic - we don't have that.
I too enjoy that peaceful, relaxing 'drink' at the end of the day. But I think it is more about the putting the feet up, breathing and letting the day go than the alcohol in my hand. (Yep that really does help but....) I know I can't drop fat AND drink alcohol. It just doesn't work so I have the same routine of putting feet up but my drink is alcohol free. Currently, I am enjoying a sugarless Kombucha with just a few drops of stevia in my favorite wine glass. This does the trick for me.
Warning: Do look at the ingredients as many Kombucha's have added sugar in them. In the making of Kombucha sugar has to be used to feed it but the sugar should be eaten up in the process. This particular one that I have been drinking is raw and only 50 calories but many go up to 90-110 with the added cane sugar.
I also will enjoy a flavored drinking apple cider vinegar that I found on Imperfect Produce but have seen in other stores as well. This pairs will with SUMMER as it is a bit tart!
For those liking a bit of the tropics, here is another mocktail: Jalepeno Margarita. The full recipe has the tequila but a a simple swap for sparkling water makes this mocktail an awesome treat.
